Band is a goldmine of great music and just keeps pumping it out after all these years.

The initial press release made me think they were going back to the One Second/Host style or at least the Symbol Of Life style. This is basically just a step back from Medusa. I like it, but I was actually hoping for something different.

Mackintosh said the song is the closest in style to Medusa. The other tracks may have a different approach.

Personally I'm more with Flug. I like Medusa as a professional take on the early sound, but with modern production it's just not the same for me.

From sheer performances and tightness of writing Faith satisfies me like no other album of theirs does. However if you take experimentation/character in consideration then I recognize it's not. In fact my dear favorite has always been Shades of God even if in a song the drums go out of tempo in the first like 10 seconds lol.

My favorite Paradise Lost albums are Icon and Symbol of Life. If they did a darker, doomier, Symbol of Life that would be awesome.

Symbol of Life definitely needs more love - very enjoyable front to back. They pulled that sound off extremely well.

Speaking of which (kind of), NB's store lists a Fall From Grace / Ghosts vinyl single releasing in a month. Maybe we'll get to hear this "dancefloor-filler" (quoted) soon.

Symbol of Life is my jam lately so i'm really hyped for that track.
