Intercontinental metallers Azusa released a single titled "Detach" on Feb 28. The song features a guest solo from Alex Skolnick (Testament, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Savatage etc.) and is the third single off their upcoming sophomore release Loop of Yesterdays, which is set to drop on April 10.

Looks like they're going through their Meshuggah meets surf-rock phase. I can dig it.

Aight whole song fuckin slapped. Although I actually thought the opening was Meshuggah for a sec. Clean vocal parts were the weakest moments but I can tolerate them

The track is really good, and yeah the solo was so on point that they just let him record it and faded the whole thing out lol.

This is in fact their third release off the new record. After "Memories of an Old Emotion", they released a music vid for "Monument": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQ2oIxRrdlI

idk their songs are pretty darn memorable for me, or at least certain passages are... then again I've probably heard Heavy Yoke a stupid number of times by now.
