Soulfly stream "Dead Behind the Eyes"

2018-09-14 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 12 Comments
Soulfly have released the third song from their upcoming 11th album, Ritual, entitled "Dead Behind the Eyes". The track features Lamb of God vocalist D. Randall Blythe, and fans have compared the song to Sepultura's output in the late 1980s.

Ritual is out October 19 via Nuclear Blast.

Lol, no it doesn't (sound like 80's Sepultura). Oddly enough however; it sounds like the Derrick Green fronted-Sepultura.. so confused now.

Get over it, Max.

Track itself could be better but if this is indicative of the general direction of the album then it could work out.

I could see a comparison to Chaos AD at most. Song is pretty good but I really with they didn't feature Randy Blythe. I can't stand his vocals.

I like two things about Soulfly, the general atmosphere, the solos and Max Cavalera's vocals.

I have no idea why the lead guitar in the chorus reminds me of the breakdown in "I'm Not the One" by Sum 41 but it does.
