Is anyone ready? I'm hoping not.
|
| |
wow, that was quick, literally just posted this like 30 seconds ago
and yes, the song is bad, and no I'm not apologizing for the article title.
|
| |
Yama, a yama nama
|
| |
"Are you ready for a nunna one, comin around!? Are you ready for a nunna gun, makin a sound!?"
This is just a guess at the lyrics on this song.
|
| |
surprisingly no
|
| |
I think the song is fine . Disturbed is one of that band that it's better not to change anything...
|
| |
yikes. this is even worse than I expected.
|
| |
Disturbed is one of those bands that it's better not to
|
| |
always ready for more draiman baby. what an ICON!
|
| |
"Are you ready for a nunna one, comin around!? Are you ready for a nunna gun, makin a sound!?"
I just assumed this was real lyrics and thought "oh seems legit"
|
| |
It is certainly a Disturbed song.
|
| |
even by their standards it's incredibly limp and corny. sounds like they're giving up all pretensions of being a """metal""" band and they're embracing the whole poppy electronic radio rock thing everybody seems to be doing these days. which really isn't that surprising.
|
| |
hilarious.
|
| |
Did anyone ask for this?
|
| |
that was terrible even for Disturbed standards
|
| |
Way, way worse than The Vengeful One.
|
| |
well that was distrubed in 2018, didn't expect anything more or less really
|
| |
Sounds like every Disturbed song ever, no energy
|
| |
dan donegan is 50 years old!
|
| |
ugghhhh
|
| |
I like this band a lot, but this song is definitely below average for them. Hopefully the rest of the album is better
|
| |
"dan donegan is 50 years old!"
holy shit he is
|
| |
what an awesome cut scene! can't WAIT for the rest of the game
|
| |
wow that was terrible...
Dunno why but I expected a lot more
|
| |
Are you ready for (ready for)
A perfect storm (perfect storm)
|
| |
So the albums title is Evolution huh
|
| |
double post
|
| |
Oh no.
I don't want to go to work tomorrow. Someone call me in.
|
| |
This is not good.
|
| |
Alexa play 'Fire It Up'
|
| |
hell yeah i'm ready
|
| |
I can't think of Disturbed without remembering that time they had a punch up with Finch
|
| |
Based on the article title, I was worried Disturbed had covered "Blind."
|
| |
ARE YOU READY FOR A GOOD TIME
THEN GET READY FOR THE NIGHT LINE
o wait wrong band
|
| |
I swear I've seen / heard this shit before.
|
| |
Dan really is the Phil Collins of metal
|
| |
FIRE IT UP
I LIKE TO FIRE IT UP AND IT FEELS SO RIGHT
|
| |
Please God stop this
|
| |
I never am
|
| |
I got exactly what I expected from the title. ARE YOU READY!!??
|
| |
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
GET UP GET UP
|
| |

Richard Cheese - Down With the Sickness
|
| |
I actually really like this. Love that electronic element in there too.
|

|
| |
CRAP DOUBLE POST
|
| |
The electronic element is alright, but the song structure and some of the vocals sound *way* too familiar for a Disturbed song.
|
| |
Not as bad as i expected...still not good though
|
| |
No, because they suck hard
|
| |
These guys used to have some really great songs, this is just boring and limp, yuck
|
| |
UPDATE: Due to relentless backlash, the album title was quickly changed to "Devolved"
|
| |
garbage
|
| |
This is a Disturbed song.
|
| |
It's so fucking bad lol
|
| |
No one is ready for Disturbed. Ever.
|
| |
sounds like every Disturbed song ever
|
| |
it certainly is a disturbed song
|
| |
Song needs more AWK AWK
AH AH OH WAAAA SQUAK
|
| |
Why do their riffs always sound like that
|
| |
Y'all way too harsh on this one. It's not that bad.
|
| |
It's decent. Not hitting the same guilty pleasure beats as their early records but I can certainly think of worse. I know some people are calling them washed up and dated but honestly thanks to "Sound of Silence" this is probably the biggest Disturbed have been since Nu Metal was peaking, (if you can say that wretched genre had a peak that is). TL;DR: it is what it is and I can def think of worse.
|
| |
Sweet news article.
Does this song have a spoken word section?
|
| |
more like ready for disturbed to call it quits amirite fam???!!? :P
|
| |
this song is horrendous
|
| |
Don't try to pretend this isn't going to be your AOTY guys cmon.
|
| |
You got me, Corpse. I tried to hide my inner Disturbed fanboy, but I'm just lying to myself
|
| |
I don't mind the uplifting vibe of the chorus but I feel Draiman's raspy voice is really showing its limits.
|
| |
at least the album is only 10 tracks long
|
| |
I thought Draiman sounded as good as one could hope. This song sounds like a tamer version of what you'd find on Ten Thousand Fists In The Ass or Indestructible, so that's ok with me.
|
| |
I always liked him as a vocalist, and he sounds just fin here, but there's no edge to this song.
|
| |
Honestly's it's just refreshing to have a band release a new song that isn't "TRUMP IS HITLER".
|
| |
I mean, the anti-Trump sentiment has definitely become cliché, but it's really not that hard to find good new music that avoids politics altogether dude
|
| |
This is pretty by-the-numbers Disturbed, but what the hell happened to the production? Everything sounds so flat.
|
| |
it's below average in their case but yeah, [2], production sucks so much
|
| |
Usually Disturbed is over produced. This isn't even produced at all. Something's wrong here.
|
| |
Well, I am ready to see the rest of this dupmster fire.
TBH, I do like this but this is just doing same shit they've been doing for years. Like people have pointed out, the title is ironic since there is zero 'Evolution' found in this track. This sounds straight off their first or second album.
|
| |
they peaked on Ten Thousand Fists tbh
|
| |
new song...I guess it's their attempt at being "mature"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4382UVl0oc
|
| |
is it any better than Are You Ready? I don’t know if I should bother with it or not
|
| |
it's not good that's for sure, but I do kinda prefer it over Are You Ready
|
| |
alright, guess I’ll try it out then... God have mercy
|
| |
nope, not good. It falls flat everywhere for me. There was so much potential for a decent ending, but nope. Vocals? Flat. Guitar? Generic. Lyrics? Average. No thanks
|
| |
Wow that was terrible. Very cringe — especially when accompanied by the very cringe video.
|
| |
Both singles are their worst songs ever...
|
| |
“both singles are their worst songs ever...”
as extreme as that sounds... I cannot disagree with that
|
| |
I am super ready.
|
| |
