Cask to Donate to Farmers

2018-08-09 by Pirate666 | 16 Comments
Australian progressive rock musician Cask J. Thomson has announced he will donate all proceeds from this weekend's sales of his new release Life is a Terminal Illness to struggling farmers in Australia, after record droughts have disrupted their livelihoods.

In a Facebook post, Cask says:

"Australia is in severe drought and farmers are struggling.

This weekend (11th and 12th of August 2018) I will be donating ALL proceeds from my BandCamp sales of Life is a Terminal Illness (all digital formats) to Drought Angels

We are having to import grain from overseas, we are in trouble.
Help some top cobbers out.

Second that, it's like the worst drought in over 50 years, guys

The grain isn’t being shipped in from overseas to the drought affected areas of Eastern Aus. The hyperbolic Australian TV media have just made it appear that way. It’s actually being shipped from WA,SA & VIC.

Yeah, but it's gotta be pretty bad if you're turning to South Australia for help
