What does "critically awaited" even mean?

Awaited by critics obvsly.

Singles were promising, hope this is a step up from Titan.

The production is amazing, but the songs aren't nearly as creative and unique as were on the last three albums; in my opinion. I overhyped this thing WAY too much in my mind; crushed my day.

Thought the same on the first couple of listens but then it clicked. It's better than Titan imo

I've only heard Communion and The Great Mass, both suck hard. Prob won't check this, but I still gotta jam their first 3 albums since I've heard they slay.

Their early stuff is great indeed. Esoptron is one of the most unique doom/death metal albums
