New JEW Tracks... on Tour 2007-07-11 by Jom | 6 Comments | As previously reported in February, Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins informed fans that the band would be taking its time on a follow-up to 2004's Futures.
Now, there's a slight update on hearing some new tunes: the band has announced a slew of July concert dates to essentially test out some of the new tracks to be found on the forthcoming Chase the Lights, which saw the band in the studio for approximately a year-and-a-half.
The upcoming album has no official release date; however, the July concert dates are as follows:
July 18 - Sunshine Theater, Albuquerque, New Mexico
July 19 - Gothic Theatre, Denver, Colorado
July 20 - Granada Theatre, Lawrence, Kansas
July 21 - Slowdown, Omaha, Nebraska
July 23 - Fineline Music Cafe, Minneapolis, Minnesota
July 24 - Beer Theatre, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
July 25 - Park West, Chicago, Illinois
July 27 - Southgate House, Newport, Kentucky
July 28 - Bijou Theatre, Knoxville, Tennessee
July 30 - Emo's, Austin, Texas
July 31 - Granada Theatre, Dallas, Texas
August 03 - Mesa Arts Center, Mesa, Arizona
