Madonna And Gogol Bordello Duet 2007-07-10 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 3 Comments | Madonna's revelation last week that she'd be joined on stage during her Live Earth set by Gogol Bordello frontman Eugene Hutz and violinist Sergey Ryabtsev for a rendition of her flamenco-infused hit 'La Isla Bonita' left more than a few observers scratching their heads. The video of the performance, posted to Youtube yesterday, hasn't cleared up an awful lot- in fact, it only begs the question: why does she persist with that awful faux-English accent?
