nah I watched it, i dont know what to say. They execute their part well but i'm not a fan of the original song and I don't like the principle of it. There are other bands who are more deserving of a fkn orchestral backing.

If you think this is egregious on any level you are deliberately ignoring that it is incredibly benign compared to a vast amount of music out there.

The sountrack from basically any disney film is better than this album--both the original and live orchestral version. But I mean that goes without saying.

They weren't really good when they were deathcore, imo. I mean, when I was 18 and had a copy of Count Your Blessings I thought they were something special, but that was literally 10 years ago.

There Is A Hell... was this band's peak, but this new alt rock style is great.

It sounded good. Really added something to a song that I felt was pretty bland.

The question that I'm left with is why was Bring Me The Horizon chosen for this particular project? Why not hit up Mastodon and have them do Crack the Skye or Blood Mountain? Or the Deftones? I think you could get some really interesting reinterpretations of songs from those albums rather than just have them play background to this one.

Anyways, I don't even understand why we post BMTH on here when you know it's just going to get negative reviews. I quite enjoy this album and this performance was great.... not that my opinion matters to the greats of Sputnik.

That's The Spirit was their Black Album moment. Threw them into the mainstream with a considerably watered down sound compared to their previous efforts. They want to go a "bit weirder" on their next album so we'll see if it ends up being their Load.

The song serves as a single for both the album and the upcoming live album Live At Royal Albert Hall where band played along with an orchestra.

This version is on their live album, which is prob gonna be their best record.

I love what they did on That's the spirit . For me it is much accessible than what they did before , and I prefer it that way . Hope the next one will be the same

Every time these guys release an album, I think it's awesome for a couple of months and then never listen to it again. I think this is the only one that stuck with me at all, because I still enjoy it.

your comment was silly so I pointed that out lol. A band shouldn't get props for just being benign. If anything that should still detract from their worth. The band gets more criticism because of their popularity, which is generally how things work.

You misread. I was saying that people bitching and moaning is unjustified cause this isn't offensively bad by any stretch. I don't think this is benign, I'm just saying that AT WORST it is, so the "oh god I just puked this is so awful" comments are just because it's them.

This is noise for people who is derpin while I am djentin. Sempiternal and there is a hell were decent despite of some bad songs but this is boring and predictable as shit
