Lamb of God meets Alice in Chains

Song was okay.
| |
pretty fucking gay
| |
Groovy riffs as usual but this cleaner approach is so damn generic.

jesus fucking christ...

Lamb of God has put out some amazing songs since Wrath. Definitely feel like I prefer their later stuff to their older stuff. 512 and In Your Words are like totes the best songs ever. This song does sound like Alice In Chains, but I won't complain. I think they pull it off well and did well on the last album when it surfaced.

| |
Wrath was the last thing I really liked from these guys.
| |
It's like they're shitting on the guy's corpse and Layne Stayle's corpse at the same time.
| |
Not a fan of the clean singing
| |
Oh yeah I hate this. worst song of the year so far.
| |
a salty pickle, go figure
| |
groove metalcore hahahahaha
| |
Sorry LOG, but this is weak. I'm not opposed to them experimenting with cleans, but this just ain't working for me.
| |
Yea go eff yourself 5oil.
| |
This is really boring
| |
I like it. Not sure what everybody here is talking about.
| |
awful
| |
Clean singing? I thought Overlord from the last album was one of the standout tracks but I didn't expect them to keep up with it. I thought VII wasn't anything special otherwise so maybe I should stay away from this.
| |
Not trve kvlt/10
| |
No, it just blows.

Song was decent. Not one of the better Lamb of God songs, but to me that's beside the point.
This was a heavily personal song for the band, particularly Randy, to create. A relationship with a dedicated fan was developed, and not only are Lamb of God honoring that man, but they are bringing awareness and aid to his cause.
If you read the story behind this song, Randy clearly states that it was a big deal for them to create it, and I have no doubt that they've created the song exactly the way they felt it needed to be done.
The band could have written a freaking polka song, and I would have been behind them and their efforts.

I thought this was really good. I like when LOG mixes cleans in, and because it has meaning behind it, I think it's even better.
| |
not big on the vocals
| |
This ain't working for me
| |
ZZZZZZZZ
| |
Wat is diz mayn?

Randy Blythe and Co. serve to prove that some things are best kept to yourself.
| |
didnt think LoG could sound this boring
| |
Really generic sounding.
| |
Tbh overlord was one of the best Lamb of God tracks ever, in this track they made a less interesting carbon copy of overlord. Not awful but nothing special
| |
bad as awalys
| |
Meh

People are way too critical! The song is written with a friend in mind who passed at too young an age. Also, this EP is basically a side project, and a dedication to that person. I wish more people would just appreciate it for what it is.
| |
Doesn't mean it can't be shit either
