Worst song on the album by far.
Album itself is awesome though.

5.0 classic
As I Lay Dying The Powerless Rise
As I Lay Dying Shadows Are Security
As I Lay Dying Awakened
so much passion, so much brilliance, but i expect nothing less from them
August Burns Red Messengers
August Burns Red Rescue & Restore
August Burns Red Sleddin' Hill
August Burns Red Found in Far Away Places
They have somehow outdone themselves again. This is a masterpiece of an album. A beautifully
abstract and passionate album once again from one of the most consistent bands around. They are on a different
level completely.
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Drop Dead, Gorgeous In Vogue
Drop Dead, Gorgeous Worse Than A Fairy Tale
Eminem The Slim Shady LP
Fit for a King Deathgrip
When I first heard pissed off released in august I was blown away and knew right then FFAK was going to release their best
album. Here we are now and I must say this is the pinnacle of their career so far and one of the heaviest albums in
metalcore in the last 5 years, yet also extremely melodic at times. Unbelievable vocal range from what I'm assuming is 3
different members of the band. Ryan Kirby is THE BEST SCREAMER/GROWLER/SINGER in the genre right now and his
versatility is at its peak right now. I cant believe what he can do with his range and his cleans on this album prove that he is
an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Instrumentally they have found their supreme sound as well with a perfect
dichotomy of brutality and beautiful melodies. I highly recommend seeing them live as well. I believe this band will take
over the metalcore title within the next few years. Disease might be the heaviest song I've heard since impending doom's
last album. 4.8/5

as if people don't post angry shit all the time on here
yes but you're reaching 30 and you're posting on a music site saying you're never gonna listen to a certain band again because they're speaking out on something as if they're actually reading what you say lmao

PVRIS Paris
PVRIS Acoustic
This an amazingly atmospheric and beautiful mood setting little ep.
PVRIS White Noise
When i discovered this band's ep, I was stunned by the raw emotion and energy, and mostly the amazing talent
that Lynn displayed. I was skeptical when they changed their sound to a more synth/electronic pop sound with
the first single though it was extremely enjoyable. I can honestly tell you now that after this album drops it's going
to blow up and transcend modern music. Lynn easily has the best voice in music, and this band crafted an
absolutely infectious, ambient, and fun album.Believe the hype.

The Browning Isolation
While this band has been hated for the most part on this particular site, they have been one of my favorites since 2012 with
their electronic induced breakdown sound. I have thoroughly enjoyed their ep's, and their 2 albums, but this new one
absolutely surpasses everything they've done on every sonic level. Definitely them at their most dynamic with the
astounding electronics, the improved screaming, and tightened instrumentals for their particularly unique sound. A
fantastic album from start to finish. "Cynica" bursts with insanity, then midway through "Fallout" stands out as a new
frontier for the band with some cleans on the chorus, then "Phantom Dancer" pummels relentlessly, and finishing with what
I think is the strongest track they've ever crafted which is the exploding "Pathologic". And finally if you have never seen
this band live, I suggest you do so because they put on one of the most intensely fun shows I've seen and I've been to
hundreds of shows. 4.85/5

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
|
| |
This went south fast.
|
| |
Of course this was gonna go south fast, the article mentioned that this song is about BLM. People either love BLM, or hate BLM. It's probably the most polarizing movement in America right now.
|
| |
You think so? I know a lot of people white and black who are kinda neutral toward it and don't have super strong feelings one way or the other. I'd say Trump and Hillary are a lot more polarizing.
|
| |
yeah you either support it, despise it, or have zero opinion on it
honestly imo the black lives matter movement has a really great concept and message but it's really flawed, like i understand why they riot but some people in that movement take it way too far. some are just so ignorant that they immediately turn off any reasoning as if all of these people getting killed are saints.
with that being said all lives matter and blue lives matter are idiotic and just complete slaps in the face
|
| |
I've never talked to a single person with a neutral opinion on BLM tbh
Mostly because a lot of people who have a neutral opinion are hit hard by either side of the argument for "not taking action"
|
| |
Being "meh" about it doesn't mean zero opinion, it's like "I understand the reasons behind it but disagree with a lot of the methods they use" so it's a neutral stance but not uninvolved if you follow me.
|
| |
"BLM IS A TERRORIST GROUP"
Take off your white bed sheets, sir.
|
| |
On one hand, BLM has reasonable chapters that do things like host cook offs, host non-violent protests, and donate to charities, and those are beneficial, I can get behind that. On the other hand, retarded shit like blocking off roads (which has resulted in several deaths), saying all white people are evil, and that all cops are evil, and such, is asinine and gives the movement a bad name.
|
| |
Hahahah dude Snide you just proved my point by taking a neutral stance yourself. Which as I said is not uncommon.
|
| |
I'm also the only one I know in my state who has a neutral position. Although I used to lean more towards outright hating it.
|
| |
“o yea you're snake and you slither through this website like one too"
Lmao oh man this brought a smile to my face
|
| |
The last thing BLM is, is a terrorist group. The real victims lately though are the people being treated as rioters at the Pipeline protests and that deserves more attention in this immediate moment because the ramifications of what law enforcement and corporations controlling law enforcement up north are getting away with is severe.
|
| |
Shailene Woodley is charged with inciting a riot because she live streamed at the peaceful pipeline protest and had 40,000 live viewers, so she was the only one arrested after she left the site when she was first asked, but they only did that to get her away from the area where everyone would not see her being arrested by herself. Law was waiting for her at her camper. Someone in power saw she was broadcasting and had actual viewers and ordered the law to take care of it.
|
| |
yeah when shailene woodley got arrested that was the last straw
i don't care if she's a dollar store jennifer lawrence she's a celebrity trying to spread a message and all you pricks did was take that away from them
|
| |
Legitimate tyranny 101
|
| |
Respected Shailene a lot for that.
|
| |
Shailene has had my respect for a long time. She's been an activist for a year or two now at least. Her mother was there and had to watch her daughter be arrested for fighting for the side of good against evil can you imagine
|
| |
I didn't know anything about her bar seeing her in Divergent (arguably the only good thing about those movies, except for some fun moments in the first one)
|
| |
hahahahaa what is this song and what is this thread?
|
| |
do you need comprehension lessons or
|
| |
yes
|
| |
Funny how you don't have run ins with the cops when you're not breakin' the law all the time.
|
| |
someguest you are difficult to pin down politically, although part of that is your love of trolling so I have to approach each post with skepticism.
|
| |
A part of the political problems in this country is we blame one side or the other and paint the other side as perfect. Are cops in this country retarded? Absolutely. Are the citizens? Absolutely.
|
| |
I'm not talking about this issue in isolation, I'm saying having seen a lot of your political posts you are still largely a mystery to me.
|
| |
I've felt love and hate for every political agenda under the sun. I've wholly given up on the notion of political ideal. It's a system for pimping morons and pushing paper.
|
| |
Surely you have principles.
|
| |
BLM isn't terroristic, it's just embarrassing. A group that's 'policy influence' extends, at best, to peaceful protest by 20-something college kids and, at worst to violent and destructive rioting, will never initiate any substantive change at a political level. Agitating for social change that is substantive insofar as it results in a cultural and political shift isn't achieved in a democratic setting by clapping your hands together and making as much racially divisve noise as you can whilst alienating a large portion of the remaining American public by damaging public property. It's no wonder that a risecore band, who specialise in slapping their instruments together and head-banging to whatever noise comes out would be so enamoured with this movement, but it's also no wonder that no ELECTABLE political figures - Bernie Sanders, take note - refuse to officially endorse BLM.
|
| |
Song still sucks
|
| |
i hate watching white people all discuss black lives matter
|
| |
I'm not anti-BLM by any stretch but if I wanted to hear it discussed by anyone in the musical spectrum, Issues are pretty much the last band I'd choose.
|
| |
I think we're forgetting the more important issue here
How much Issues sucks
|
| |
last two comments are dead on, adopting some sort of moral compass for social justice will not save how god awful this band is
|
| |
But that's only because y'all are fucking morons
|
| |
they can go fuck themselves with this PC SJW bullshit. officially never listening to them again.
BLM IS A TERRORIST GROUP. how can these pathetic idiot leftist hipsters not see their chaos?
|
| |
honestly tho the band is a little off in their message because police as a concept is completely flawed and geared toward keeping the rich and powerful safe
|
| |
i hate watching white people all discuss black lives matter
quite the assumption on your part, "I'm a minority" dude
|
| |
wish they would do a vid for Flojo. that shit bangs. alright (almost) triple post i'm out
|
| |
police are supposed to be public servants and nothing more. their most important job is not to make it home at night. if they think it is, they have no business in law enforcement.
|
| |
"they can go fuck themselves with this PC SJW bullshit. officially never listening to them again.
BLM IS A TERRORIST GROUP. how can these pathetic idiot leftist hipsters not see their chaos? "
These two sentences are straight up just buzz words
|
| |
and yeah lol being a cop is a dangerous job that's what they signed up for, they can quit whenever they want
and also it's pretty naive to think cops exist for the good of the people or something like that, they're mostly their to protect business and property and enforce laws
|
| |
@someguest i was more talking about the guy saying BLM is a terrorist group and shouting FUCKING SJWs. no non-white person says either of those things lol
|
| |
hooray!
