Wye Oak Release New Album 2016-06-09 by theBonerKing | 4 Comments | Indie folk-rock duo Wye Oak have surprise-released their new album Tween today. The 8-track, 35-minute album follows 2014's Shriek, which saw the band incorporate synthpop elements into their moody sound.
Tween consists of songs written between 2011's Civilian and Shriek and reworked for this release.
For the time being, the album is only available digitally. It will see a physical release August 5th.
Tween tracklist:
1. Out of Nowhere
2. If You Should See
3. No Dreaming
4. Too Right
5. Better (For Esther)
6. On Luxury
7. Trigger Finger
8. Watching the Waiting
The band has also released a video for the album's closer "Watching the Waiting". Watch it below.
