Man I know a lot of people give the eagles a bad rep for being "dad rock" but they made some really great stuff and it had a lot to do with Glenn. RIP hard

Also I'd (unfortunately) argue that we're gonna see a lot more of these iconic stars dying because not only are they getting up there in age, but a lot of the habits these rockstars developed on the road are gonna catch up with them very soon as well.

My mom used to play Glenn Frey's solo stuff all the time when I was little. Those were some the best 80s songs.

It seems that 2016 is a terrible year for rock music. In a few weeks too many artists have died. I hope that it will not last more and Glen be the last one.
Eagles is one of the bands that I grew up with and I always loved it. As some of you know I'm essentially a prog fan, but despite that, I always listened to their music since the 70's and they soon became one of my favourite non-prog bands. I have bought some of their albums in vinyl in those times. I even saw them in 22-07-2009 in my country, for the first time, on their tour Long Road Out Of Eden. Then, I even suspected that probably it would be my first and last time that I saw them. Unfortunately, it seems that I was right.
So, It's with great shock That I see the departure of another great artist, that I love.
RIP Glen, we never forget you, man.
