So will they break the good album bad album cycle with this one?
| |
That's kind of a really dumb album title
| |
Not impressed. The last album was "OK". I haven't liked any song that's been released so far for this album. Also, on Facebook Brendon pretty much admitted that the band is basically just him now with a backing band - which is a shame.
| |
liked this song. liked every song so far.
| |
Song is kinda cool
| |
Okay so "their" (Brendan Urie's new album) will be a 2.5-3.0? Thanks.
| |
Ugh that production kms
| |
Remember when they said this album would be more like A Fever? That being said I wouldn't mind another record like Too Weird. Also, song is pretty fun. Carefully looking forward to the album cause "Hallelujah" was dope, but the other two were meh.
| |
This is the perfect melding together of performance art and musical prowess. Bands had better learn to catch up to this genius. Album will be a classic for the times, I may as well bin my entire discog as nothing can capture the power and visceral impact of this band. Amazing!
cunt.
| |
Not bad... I'm more interested in this album based on the other singles than this one. Especially the title track, that's a great song.
| |
just wait til you see the fucking album artwork...
| |
This band still exists
| |
Man this album's gonna be bad
| |
might be the first band to get two 1's from me lol
-torts
| |
Really like this song, looking forward to the album.
| |
yeah the song is fab, but the artwork guys...its gross. It was literally made on MS paint
| |
I actually like the album artwork tbh
| |
Not gonna front I've liked every single thats come out of this and I hope it's better than whatever the last album was
| |
It's ambitious, and I'd say this is a good direction for him to go in after losing another member. The songs have been really big and boisterous, and this one is no different. I enjoyed their last album but I think I might like this one more...I do agree though that the artwork could be better.
Also his voice is top notch right now, makes me jealous that he can hit the notes he's been hitting in these singles.
| |
hmm when did Brendon get so attractive
| |
"4. Emperor's New Clothes"
Dave Mustaine is now officially salty.
| |
Really wish I was excited for this but I'm not..
| |
it's sad that the album artwork is the best thing about this so far
| |
Music video kicked ass, but the song was pretty basic. Why are all these pop-rock bands lacking in the "rock" sound?
| |
Interesting title, did Urie get married recently? Regardless, due to the shitty singles so far I'll definitely skip this.
| |
it's due to him being the last member in the band
| |
Ah gotcha
| |
Nah it actually is because he got married recently lol... the title track is pretty solid if you haven't heard it.
| |
4 great/good singles released so far.
anxious to hear the final product. i don't think it will top vices though.
| |
is panic at the disco even like a fucking band anymore? just 1 dude cashing in on the name while everyone else has moved on. making a fortune off dem 13 year old girls.
| |
Urie has the vocal talents for sure and can probably play a few instruments, but he might as well just call this his solo outlet - panic aren't a band anymore. Just a cash vehicle.
| |
Kinda of surprised by how decent the lyrics are compared to what FOB has done. It is better than what I have heard from FOB after their hiatus.
| |
However, this is not as good as old PAT!D but giving two of their albums 1 stars is douchy but what to expect from torts xD. I am just messing with you.
| |
Really cool video and I liked the song. I've never liked pop rock or panic at the disco but its really good for the genre.
| |
why are all of these bands going down the Fall Out Boy route? i mean, for FUCK'S sake, seriously
| |
The gangshouts in the chorus remind me of the star wars cantina theme
| |
But this isn't Panic! At the Disco... Bands changing their style is fine (and a good thing to stop their music from going stale) but seriously what the fuck is this. It's just Brandon Urie now too, why not just release it as a solo album?
| |
@LoLifant holy shit you're right
| |
It doesn't really matter but their social media has the bassist listed as an official member so "technically" Brendon isn't the only member, just the only founding member left.
But yeah, it's going the direction FOB went but Brendon seems more fitting for a pop record and it isn't a surprise he's following FOB considering Pete Wentz is the dude who discovered P!ATD in the first place. I'm looking forward to this, even if it isn't quite what I'd like.
Also yes the gangshouts are the cantina theme for a split second
| |
the guy isn't the best songwriter but i absolutely love his voice and he makes it fit into his songs well enough
| |
Any songs about closing the god damn door?
| |
"This fifth album will be the first full-length with Brendon as the sole member of Panic! At The Disco and that’s had its impacts.
“It used to be a marriage of four guys in the band and now I‘m left alone. It’s a divorce,”
| |
oh. panic! at the disco is still a thing
| |
So far this album sounds better than the last one, that's for sure.
| |
"Any songs about closing the god damn door?"
LOL
| |
i can get behind this
