FIDLAR announce new album; debut new song

2015-06-02 by iGuter | 7 Comments
FIDLAR have announced the follow up to their 2013 self-titled album, with Too dropping September 4th via Mom+Pop. They have also released a new single & accompanying music video for the lead single '40 Oz. On Repeat'.

Guitarist and lead vocalist Zac Carper describes their experience and direction with the album:

"We could have made record number one again... but instead we decided to challenge ourselves and admit that we don't know everything. Up until this point we had recorded everything ourselves, so working with a producer taught us so much. I didn't want to make a standard rock record. The goal for this album was to think outside the box and I think Jay really helped us do that".

They played this when I saw them a couple months ago and it was good but I wasn't too crazy about it. Better after a few listens.

Not the greatest song but I'm digging the more creative details so I'm hopeful on the album.
