they're pretty solid, probably around the 3-3.5 that most of a&b's stuff is for me
|
| |
wait....they already have more than one full albums
I'm really behind.
|
| |
lol yeah, 2 full-lengths and an EP i never listened to
it's pretty solid stuff but different than anberlin. i'd say it's more lush at the expense of energy, which makes some songs work really well (like i said elsewhere, 'summer tongues' is the jam) and others feel just a tad boring
|
| |
These songs kind of make me feel lonely. I don't like that.
|
| |
that's one way of putting it, but i can agree on that point.
|
| |
I'm already loving them
I was really impressed by IJSW and I knew that they would not revisit that style since it was meant to be an experiment/outlier, so I'm glad that Stephen's continuing that aesthetic with anchor and braille
|
| |
this project is always good for 3 or so amazing songs per album and a lot of filler, but maybe it'll get better post-Anberlin
|
| |
If I wanted to give this side-project a serious shot, would there be one or two just absolutely "blow your mind" songs I can try? I loved Anberlin, but I'm not really feeling these two new songs.

I'd recommend checking out Summer Tongues (from Felt) and Before I Start Dreaming (from The Quiet Life)
