Supernova Guitarist Denies Rumours

2007-04-14 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 8 Comments
Rock Star Supernova left a message on his official myspace earlier today, denying all rumours that he's left the band. Clarke wrote: "I have not left RSSN... we just finished the tour. I don't know where they got that from. I did an interview with ET Canada, and we talked about the future of the band, but I never said I've left the band."

As previously reported, an ET Canada erroneously broadcast earlier this week announced the guitarist's departure. Canadian frontman Lukas Rossi spoke to the same outlet, revealing that "there will be a name change… the best is yet to come!" adding that he was working on lyrics for the new material.

The status of bassist Jason Newsted is still unclear. He hasn't performed with the band at all since they began touring earlier this year having injured both of his shoulders attempting to catch a falling bass head. He's been temporarily replaced by the much cooler Johnny Colt.

I thought I noticed something different about the posts.

"there will be a name change… the best is yet to come!"

I wonder what they're gonna change it to.

Haha, nice Plath!

I like Lukas Rossi, he should do a solo thing.

Jason is probably one of the coolest guys around, only boosty can probably match his coolness.
