24 hour Urt stream 2014-06-18 by Metalstyles | 6 Comments | For the next 24 hours, until midnight of June 19 in the UTC +03.00 time zone, Estonian music website Rada 7 will stream Urt’s upcoming album, IXI.
Hailing from the small city of Põlva, these pagans have been active on the Estonian metal landscape since 2004, delivering their own brand of black metal with
firm conviction. From the band’s ominous name (Urt meaning "soul of death") to the lyrics that are exclusively in Estonian and carry in them a primeval force,
Urt is a genuine pagan black metal band that takes its craft seriously.
IXI is the band’s fifth LP, the first since 2009’s Ex Mortuis - Saatanhark III, and will be digitally released on June 21 over at
