They dropped all post-hardcore influence and picked up this 70s groove influence, thereby removing all excitement from me for this album.

i really enjoyed their EP and a few songs from temple... i'll check this out

technochrist and its video were both really good imo

I love both their old sound on Penance/Patience and First Temple as well as the new things they're doing with the groovier jamband-esque influence.

I think this is a natural progression - Penance was full on post-hardcore, First Temple merged that style with some jazz + alternative sounds and now this album is expanding on that sound while getting rid of the post-hardcore

i'll miss seeing where they could've gone with the posthardcore elements, but fuck if everything i've heard for this album so far isn't excellent.

let's all just take some lsd and screw to this album
