Both Midnight and Magic rule, but I hope the album has more moments like Midnight. I'm really liking the stripped back approach so far, its a nice change from the huge arena rock of Mylo. Looking forward to the rest.

This is actually pretty good... even if I haven't really liked Coldplay for somewhere around 6 years now...
|
| |
Lol not gonna lie, someone cleaned this up for me a little, and to whoever it was, thank you. Anyways, I'm surprised with the direction of these songs and super excited for this.
|
| |
Man, this might just rule.
|
| |
Midnight was fantastic, Magic was pretty decent. This could be another solid even-numbered Coldplay album.
|
| |
who they gonna steal off this time
|
| |
oh boy, so excited for Coldplay!
|
| |
NINE TRACKS
|
| |
I love this one too even if it takes a bit for the groove to set in. Really gets infectious towards the end.
|
| |
Nine tracks? Hopefully, it's prog.
|
| |
nice. will defo check this out when it drops.
|
| |
lol'ing at all the coldplay fans on youtube who HATE midnight
|
| |
after both magic and midnight, i can safely say im really looking forward to coldplay's new album
|
| |
9 tracks is kind of short, but if they're all as quality as these two I guess it's ok.
|
| |
I expect a few more 5 minute+ tracks.

The record company must have been twisting their arms to produce something, anything , in order to stay relevant in the retail market...
This shit, can be produced by any garage or basement band...more commercial trash for the sheep. Considering the source, this is offense to the ears, and the reason seventy something rockers in adult diapers are still viable alternatives.

Magic and Midnight - two nice songs, but somehow... it feels lacking. It's just nice, nothing more. But I like the overall chill, simple sound. If only the songs touched me more.
At least it sounds like this will be better than Mylo Xyloto - which was a total trainwreck in my opinion.
Also, since there are only 9 tracks, I expect one prolonged 10 minutes plus song. Possibly the last one.
|
| |
i want a full length Clocks remix-only album that would be JAM
|
| |
So excited for this
|
| |
Nine tracks? Hopefully, it's prog. [2]
These guys are great, mainstream, but great
|
| |
coldplay dun good this time
I really hope they'll have some upbeat songs with tasty electronics like Life in Technicolor/Every Teardrop/Lovers in Japan
|
| |
i wish i liked this more than i do. i've heard every melody in this before. nothing original or captivating about it. boring.
|
| |
New songs are pretty good. It's been a while since I last looked forward to a Coldplay record.
|
| |
on 20 bars of Xanax this sounds like fucking magic.
|
| |
more songs like chinese sleep chant pls
|
| |
Only 9 tracks? Bummer. Songs they have released so far are good, tho.
|
| |
The minute this thing drops Sputnik will shove their bundles of sticks up their ass and give it a 3.0
|
| |
Im actually excited for this...
|
| |
Lol not gonna lie, someone cleaned this up for me a little, and to whoever it was, thank you. Anyways, I'm surprised with the direction of these songs and super excited for this.
You're welcome
|
| |
Coldplay are safely nestled in Justin Vernon's beard on midnight
|
| |
Quality over quantity, let's hope.
|
| |
both songs released thus far have been very good, so I'm legit hoping for a good album this time around.
|
| |
midnight was very very good.
Magic sounds a bit like album filler though. Weird choice as a first single.
|
| |
Midnight was good I agree.
Magic on the other hand was underwhelming. You can see them trying some new stuff here compared to MX
but I feel like Chris Martin's singing is still the same (Enough with the 'ooh ooh ooh') and many of
the chords sound familiar.
|
| |
I hope they're longer songs ^_^
|
| |
UN...believable.
Fucking yes
|
| |
Really digging that new song 'Always In My Head' as well
|
