All Saints To Be Dropped 2007-02-23 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 2 Comments | According to an anonymous source speaking to Brit tabloid The Daily Mirror, reformed girl-group All Saints are set to be dropped from their label Parlophone mere months after releasing their comeback record Studio One.
Despite the success of the album's first single 'Rock Steady,' it sold poorly on release and failed even to break the top forty and, with follow-up 'Chick Fit' faring little better, it's becoming inevitable that their label will give them the old heave-ho before sinking any more money into the enterprise.
Said the source: "'Chick Fit' is almost certainly going to be their last single and it will take a miracle to save the band now. They are still technically signed to the label but not for much longer. No official announcement will be made until after the single is released and all relevant parties are informed. It's unfortunate because we all had such high hopes for the reunion but it has proved to be a major let-down."

I guess I was right saying no one wanted to see an aged pop girl group.
| | | Shut up ageist pig. If Take That can do it so could they. The only reason they didn't make it was because of poor songs. Nothing to do with being "an aged pop girl group". Also the eldest member of Pussycat Dolls is older than all of them!
