awesome
| |
Very meh-ish. Not much progression from the last albums, thought the breakdowns are awesome, as always.
| |
sick
| |
yaaaaay, i was underwhelmed, but we shall see what happens with more listens
| |
it's alright have to see when the new album drops
| |
OMFG breakdown.
| |
Dayummm that was really good
| |
one of the worst song names ive heard in recent memory. song is pretty ok though, i think there will be better stuff on the album
| |
decent djenting
| |
wont play
| |
my only problem is that it doesnt flow very well
| |
wheres bloc when i need to celebrate
| |
Twas aight, not a huge fan of their new vocalist
| |
All bias aside, the vocals are a bit weird. Gonna take a bit of growing.
| |
Yay! It's okay.. but something is missing.
| |
s'aight
| |
The new vocalist is good, just need to get used to him. Other than that it's a fantastic song.
| |
pretty straight forward for them. definately a sumerian band
| |
new vocalist is way better
| |
IS THAT SOME FUCKING PI!?
| |
pissed it isnt my frailty. really wanna hear that groove.
| |
New vocalist is good. I used to almost not be able to listen to this band bc of the vocals on the first album... they were shockingly awful.
| |
perty good. i didn't like the vocals at first, but by the end of the song i was already starting to like them.
| |
really like this
| |
Breakdown was pretty fucking sick not gonna lie.
| |
wheres bloc when i need to celebrate
Arrgh! I gotta wait until I get home to listen! Of all the times to post a new song!!!!
| |
sooooo fuckin' good!

Okay, I decided to give it a listen now.
It's definitely different than Rareform, but as soon as the groove came in halfway, I got in the zone.
Good song overall.
| |
what a shitty name for such a good song.
| |
this is really good. i like the vocals on this, what does the old vocalist sound like?
| |
bad
| |
Yea this is pretty good, I'm pretty sure their will be better song on the album.
That breakdown was pretty sweet though.
| |
I wanna hear PI in this quality. And yeah the new vocalist is so much better.
| |
i actually thoroughly enjoyed that.
| |
you could almost say...they brought on the breakdown...
| |
Where was this recorded?
Production has improved 10 fold.
| |
how is this really good, this is weak compared to Rareform aside from the djent part
| |
sucks
| |
^ haha, this.
| |
adb its weird no one seems to value your opinions on the review site either :p
| |
this kinda reminds me of their older sound but more refined obviously...I think I the direction they are taking this in but I'm pretty burnt out from the metal scene so this song didn't really grab my attention. Not saying it was bad though.
| |
Doesn't flow at all. Solid riffs though.
| |
Oh for fuck's sake ATB what the hell happened? Rareform was a melodic technical masterpiece with some actual SOUL. The fuck is this shit? Even more generic garbage Sumerian has been pumping out? This had better be one of the weaker songs on the album, or I will be sorely depressed when this album drops.
Fuck it, I'm going to listen to Aspirations now.
| |
i liked this
| |
New vocalist is good. I used to almost not be able to listen to this band bc of the vocals on the first album... they were shockingly awful.

you went from winds of plague/abigail williams/aild/abrb (only two years ago) to sumeriancore to tech death to brutal death metal
you were listening to stuff like this literally last year
| |
hazily read this as a new burial song and got excited
so the actual song slapped me in the face with a handful of shit
| |
Or you're closed minded and have no respect for technical musicianship.
| |
This was pretty good. Stoked.
| |
but i like rachmaninoff
| |
That don't distortion, pussy stuffs.
| |
you should see some of the pits when they play his shit live
fuckin insane
| |
That's dependent on venues and crowds moreso than bands, tbh.
Like, if you went to any deathcore show in Philly in like 2006, shit was the most brutal moshing I've ever witnessed, but if you saw the same bands in like Allentown or New Jersey the crowds would be dead.
Now the Philly crowds have died down, but the Jersey/more north PA crowds have caught on I guess.
| |
im talking about the pits at rachmaninoff concerts
| |
surprisingly good
| |
Soooooo good.
| |
Song was alright, was expecting a bit more from this though.
| |
Band is boring.
| |
disappointed
| |
mmmmm
| |
well that was disappointing. riffs were ok, but the breakdown was worse than usual.
| |
Well the transitions are pretty bad, and the main riff doesn't make sense. I'm all for complexity, but make it memorable for gods sakes. I'm almost positive the rest of the CD will be better.
| |
At least they got rid of that annoying kick drum, that would often ruin Rareform for me.. it was so irritating. This is different, very unimpressed.
Hopefully the CD will be better.
| |
againstk, i assume you have heard the rerecording of Rareform?
| |
I don't think I have.
| |
Check it out, it's way better sounding than the original mix.
| |
lol at the '06 allentown diss, ive been going to croc for a while and i liked it when there was a smaller crowd.
People still threw down.
| |
Sounds pretty average on the first listen.
| |
well that was disappointing. riffs were ok, but the breakdown was worse than usual.
lol what? the breakdown at the end has a pretty cool rhythm
| |
Breakdown at the end was probably my favourite part.
| |
I thought he sounded fine on the re-issue, but he straight up sounds good on here.
Also, I like the concept behind the album art, but goddamn I hate how everyone thinks that overuse of photoshop filters = good art.
| |
I think it'll be good, regardless of the fact that they STILL can't write transitions.
| |
Yeah, can't say I looooooved the song but the album will definitely be great.
| |
is after the burial a hot topic band? Hmmm.
| |
Younger kids love deathcore these days. My band's drummer is 18, and he rocks WOP, ABRB, and Whitechapel merch all the time.
| |
yah but i kinda see these as less of a gimmicky fashionable band. Less brutal, more wtf = much better.
| |
in other words, morons don't appreciate technicality.
| |
IDK man, the kid loves After The Burial, in fact everyone in the local scene I know that's into deathcore likes ATB, IDK BRO.
Also, brutality is awesomeness. I'll take Whitechapel over ATB anyday. :3
| |
Not as bouncy as Rareform, but the vocals are much better.
I like the bouncy...
| |
LOL Rachmaninoff OWNS
| |
breakdowns rooled
| |
quite cool.
| |
first half was pretty meh, the second half really made up for it. imo first breakdown was weak for ATB, other than that its solid i wasnt dissapointed i guess.
| |
