Another Free Omar/John LP

2010-05-31 by Skimaskcheck | 23 Comments
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and John Frusciante have teamed up once again to release another free LP, this time under the name of 'Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Quartet'. The other two members that make up the quartet are The Mars Volta’s Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez (drums), and Juan Alderete De La Peña (bass).

Again, Sepulcros De Miel can be streamed or downloaded for free, but a pay-what-you-want donation can be made which will go toward the 'Keep Music In Schools' programs.

This is getting ridiculous.

But it's obvious he's at least doing this for the music and not the money. He's not even making profits from the people who buy the album.

John, I love your work with the guitah, but please stop fooling around with the Omar fella for a bit and start making those solo albums you're so good at.

This one kind of sucks. I sort of liked the first one they did, though.

I love their work and the previous album was decent. I hate to admit but this just sucks. But free music is awesome.
