The second and third teaser don't sound all that bad, actually.
|
| |
About 60% of all hip hop news at Sputnik is about Limp Bizkit. Sad...
|
| |
i unfortunately enjoyed these
uh, whos "rapping" on the second one? didnt sound like Durst
|
| |
Nah, it's Fred.
|
| |
I can't believe i'm actually liking these. Borland sounds kick ass.
|
| |
3 is called Douchebag, if anyone was wondering.
|
| |
still limp bizkit. ill pass.
|
| |
This fucking rules, the music is fantastic!
|
| |
That third one was actually pretty good, and I used to despise Limp Bizkit with a burning passion.
|
| |
"Gold Cobra"
|
| |
Maybe if I was still 13...
|
| |
I knew the age comments would come eventually ... Look at how old and mature I am. I don't listen to this cause I'm old and mature now. I even wipe my own ass.
|
| |
I love how sloppy the guitars sound, always a trademark in Borland's playing.
|
| |
YEAR OF THE COBRA...THE GOLD COBRA!
|
| |
i am SO teased
|
| |
fuck i hate his voice.
|
| |
"fuck i hate his voice"
this. he hasn't sounded remotely good since he stopped screaming every other word (so, basically, not since the first album). I will say the music is pretty awesome though. His vocals just kinda kill it. I'll still listen to this when it comes out though, as I usually do with this band because 3 Dolla Bill Y'all is actually still enjoyable when I'm wasted, and I used to love the shit out of that album in like '98.
|
| |
Fred might suck but the rest of the band kinda make up for it sometimes since they are all talented
|
| |
oh I love the music on a lot of L-I-M-P (lol) tracks, it's just that Fred sucks these days. I thought The Unquestionable Truth had some sick riffs on it actually.
|
| |
"About 60% of all hip hop news at Sputnik is about Limp Bizkit. Sad..."
thats because new rap outside of shady/obie/dre/50 is fucking garbage.
this is the year of the cobra.
|
| |
the third teaser was not bad at all. consider me teased.
|
| |
I agree that rap today is pretty garbage, but Eminem has yet to release anything good in a while. An Detox is prolly gonna be horrible. Prolly gonna have a buncha wack mainstream dudes like Em has been collabing with.
|
| |
I agree, Borland does come up with some great riffs

OH!!! academy you're killing me! what about:
Atmosphere
P.O.S.
Sole
Mos Def
Aesop Rock
El-P
Murs
MF DOOM
Brother Ali
Cecil Otter
Lupe Fiasco
Mac Lethal
Mr. Lif
Sage Francis
Sims
I don't know if you count all of that as "new" per se, but those guys/groups all came out in the late 90s at the earliest, and most of them came out in the 2000s. And they're all better than 50 :-)
|
| |
well wasn't that just enlightening.
|
| |
you're welcome
|
| |
fred durst is rapping better and the guitar playing has gotten a lot more experimental. this album is gonna be awesome i can just tell based on these portions
|
| |
Guitar stuff sounds cool but Durst's voice still annoys me
|
| |
hes rapping better but he is definitely still annoying. a 40 year old man who sounds like hes 21 lulz
|
| |
lyrics to limp bizkit provide the lulz
|
| |
just another one of those days, feeling like a shovel!... Lol fred durst
|
| |
......still sounds like Vanilla Ice
|
| |
Gold M-Effin' Cobra.
|
| |
Sounds pretty.... decent actually. Wtf did I just watch Limp Bizkit, what the..
MIND. BLOWN.
|
| |
Durst didn't completely ruin the second song and the music of the third teaser was the shit.
I may actually check this out.
|
| |
I'll take almost any nu metal band over this band. I just hate Fred. Wes' riffs on these teasers really are exceptional though.
|
| |
I honestly don't know why I clicked...
|
| |
I swear I'm the only person I know who actually likes Durst's vocals. They have passion.
|
| |
"The Golden Cobra" sounds like a good album name.
|
| |
...However, I didn't realise this is him rapping. Yes, his rapping sucks balls. Which is crap considering the music is really good here.
|
| |

If only they could dispose of Durst and Lethal.
|
| |
Nah, I like Lethal. Although he doesn't do much anymore : (
|
| |
not bad
|
| |
bring back "same as it ever was" era house of pain!!!!
|
| |
I liked it and am really surprised as many of you did as well.
|
| |
why does Fred feel the need still to show off those amazing rhyme skills.
|
| |
2 is lame
1 is ok
3 is awesome, lawlz.
nu metal back? :D
we'll see
|
| |
Second is the best because it has the least Durst.
|
| |
At least they kept to their main sound from the look of things. Still can't stand them though.
|
| |
Can't wait.
|
| |
Just stop, please, there's already enough shit bands.
|
| |
cobra
|
| |
of gold.
|
| |
The actual musicians of this band need to wise up and leave the talentess douche that is Fred Durst
and find themselves a real frontman.
|
| |
well at least now i know not to listen to the radio for the next something months
|
| |
^ GTFO fool.
|
| |
I like Dursts old vocal style, shown on their first record.
There he is screaming really angry and doesn´t rap so much.
I like his vocals but his rapping just sucks.
I guess the music industry won´t care for them anyway
