absolutley loved these guys in highschool which included their self titled, toxicity and to a lesser extent steal this album (b sides to toxicity). saying that, mesmorize and hypnotize were horrible imo... i wont hold my hopes up high but if they can get back to toxicity style ill be happy.

Won't get my hopes up until I hear something from either Serj or Daron. I always thought that SOAD broke up because something happened between those two, but they were mature enough to keep it to themselves instead of flaming each other through the media. In that case, a reunion would be awesome

im pretty sure scars broke up a while back. serj is/has done a symphony re-recording of elect the dead. Shavo did a project with wu-tang. Maybe since everyone has completed something around the same time they decided to come back. Newer albums were meh compaired to old stuff but im sure after all the years they could write material thats atleast decent

Wouldnt mind seeing them live for old times sake; cant help thinking that they are sort of a bit irrelevant now though. Things move on and I think they stopped at the right moment. IMO been quite poor since Toxicity. However I would still have a listen to any new stuf to make my own mind up.

Guys, Elect the Dead was a good album

God, i'd love to see these guys back together....Serj's solo album had some good stuff on it but there were too many piano songs that just didnt fit well with his voice. The Scars on Broadway album was good as well; i actually liked it more than Serj's album, but in the end, it just felt like an average SOAD album with no Serj and more filler than any of their previous efforts.

Seriously, these guys will get back together someday. If you look at the said blog. Shavo was just seeing how much all the fans would love it if System comes back.

This is what Shavo would of done after the insane response he would of got. He would of called his manager, he would of called the guys in system. he would of said. "hey guys take a look a this". At the moment, if they have all spoken and are all cool with each other. This news would of sparked contemplation between them all and decisions on when they should reform and destroy would be contemplated.

This is my hopefull theory. Just imagine if SOAD got back together how much the music scene would change whether or not they're successful. They'll have the backing of thousands, most likely millions. In my opinion it's a great time for them to come back and make heavy rock back in everyones foresight.
