Jack's is Soco without the punky vibe...better IMO

once upon a time when i reviewed cd's for my college paper, i found this band's album in the box. I thought the name was a clever jab at shitty bands who make shitty music.

then i realized this was one of those bands.

"who's playing tonight?"
"jolly green giants and the shitty beatles"
"are they any good?"
"The shitty beatles suck."
"So it's not just a clever name?"

Meh.

The singer's voice makes me want to vomit all over the place. So fucking nasal.

This makes me happy. I felt like JM was starting to run dry on original ideas a little bit on the last album (not to say there weren't some amazing songs)

Pretty cool, but I like Jack's Mannequin better.
