That's pretty relative to the speech actually since you shouldn't give everyone false hopes

I saw the Yes We Can speech. Pretty hilarious, the entire speech was basically him reminding everyone that he's black.

Paul, Obama, and Clinton... it's amazing that anyone can support any of them. Paul's promises are so outrageous. I can't believe people are stupid enough to support him.

Obama and Clinton are just playing the "HEY LOOK I AM BLACK/A WOMAN!" and "BOOHOO I AM OPRESSED" cards.

I've been saying this for a while now, but neither of them will get in because one is black and one is a woman, and I don't think the US is willing to change the fact that all of their presidents are white males.

Every American politician is nothing more a lying, power-hungry piece of shit who makes promises we all know will never happen. America is running itself into the ground, and people fail to realize it.

I don't see why everyone loves Obama so much. Romney all the way for me.

I'm sorry, but thats one of the dumbest things I've read on this site.

I'll vote for McCain or I won't vote. He's the only one that I'm educated about. And yeah, nobody is fucking moving to Canada.

Out of interest, since when did Herbie Hancock stop being a musician and become a celebrity. He's the best musician out of all of those listed there.

Obama should win the election. Although, tbh none of the candidates are left wing enough for me, but Obama is reasonably progressive

I actually wanted Guliani, but w/e.

Lol at people liking Ron Paul. No way is he gonna be president, and no way I would want him president.

I'm leaning Obama right now, I don't want another stupid old president.

I'm glad this site isn't as idiotic about music as they are about politics. *shakes head*
I'm not voting because all the current candidates are losers, IMO.

First of all, you're an idiot. No political system is perfect, and to think there's one that is is absolutely ignorant. Third world country? Are you insane, or just a spoiled little kid who doesn't realize his situation is better than 95% of the rest of the world.

As for the Obama playing the race card, I think a lot of people forget that Obama wasn't supported by black people a few months ago because he wasn't "black" enough. If you would actually listen to what the candidates have to say, you would know that Obama rarely brings up race. I think people see a Black candidate as one of the front runners though, and automatically assume he's running on a racial platform. This Message Edited On 02.03.08

The US is in a better situation then most of the world, but the politicians use fear and lies in order to have society at their knees so they can pass whatever law they like. But they are no where near a third world country. (bad Goodspeed)

Actually you're all sadly even stupider about it but that's not a big surprise since everyone here is like 16

I love the American election process. You get all these guys who could potentially become president trumping themselves up. But it seems the americans hate all of them. Massive country, massive resources, massive egos. But this is the most pathetic election race. Desperation for votes results in "sympathy" candidate casting.

However, getting anyone instead of Bush would be an improvement

Clinton is a communist, and Bille Clontons wife.
Paul is reiterating the draft.
McCain wants to stay in Iraq.
Romney is Mormon.
Obama is black.

Why would you want anyone BUT Obama?
