Ministry Says Goodbye 2026-08-17 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 7 Comments | Ministry will bring their career to a close with a final studio album and an extensive farewell tour.
The band’s seventeenth album, “Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery),” will be released on October 30 through Cleopatra Records. Its ten tracks promise another round of politically charged industrial metal, with Al Jourgensen taking aim at the state of modern society and those in power.
Longtime collaborator Paul Barker makes a final guest appearance on the closing track, “We’re Still Here,” contributing bass and programming. The remaining personnel include guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, keyboardist John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.
Ministry have previewed the record with “Burned Out,” accompanied by a politically themed video directed by former Revolting Cocks member Joshua Bradford.
Jourgensen says he is proud of everything Ministry have accomplished and completely at peace with ending the band. Following several previously announced American performances, their farewell campaign will continue with a European tour alongside Die Krupps in April and May 2027. A full North American leg will follow.
