Westelaken release The Landlord 2026-08-04 by Sowing STAFF | 1 Comments | Humble Canadian indie-rockers Westelaken have released a new standalone single called "The Landlord", their first official release since 2023's I Am Steaming Mushrooms. The seven minute track showcases their typical raw delivery while traversing moments of both beauty and heavier, riff-driven rock. The creatively winding song ultimately arrives at a place of existential dread: "dying is easy / All it takes is patience and time".
