Maruja go full off the dome

2025-02-22 by vult | 11 Comments
Emergent British post-rock band Maruja released a 22-minute live improv recording called Tir na nÓg, recorded at New Adelphi Recording Studios in Salford University, England. The title is a direct translation "Land of the Young" from Irish to English. This release couples with an upcoming tour starting next week which will mark their first venture in North America.

The band has yet to release an official LP, but previous EPs Knocknarea and Connla's Well have put the band on a significant upward trajectory.

strange tour itinerary. i get working your way down from Vancouver, but that's kinda wild they go from San Diego to Chicago, then all the way back up to Toronto, then over to the east coast and then one more little pivot back to Tennessee lol (although that's for the Big Ears festival, so that's cool they’re making it there).

Idk it’s not that odd, theyre missing most states but they must be flying from CA to IL and road touring from Chicago onwards - Chicago to Toronto is far but pretty direct.
