Out of all members, Craig barely contributed anything at all. He was literally just there to shake and headbang his porcupine head at most shows. The other members all contribute in some way....even if extremely minimal but I cannot think of a single Craig moment lol. Still will always love these guys for nostalgic reasons and the first few albums still rip.

also just to clear up any misunderstanding, Clown is the percussion guy, the member that the statement was about was their sampler/keyboardist guy Craig Jones

aside from Clown he's the longest tenured member, and did provide a lot of important components to their early sound especially on self-titled

i believe Clown has announced recently he will be sitting out some of their upcoming tour dates or something

I know clown plays actual drums on a kit outside of Slipknot, but idk how well or how much that might factor into his contributions. Also I'm not surprised they've already found a replacement. The band is just way too big at this point to stop. Gotta keep the machine running.

I’m not entirely sure what his specific contributions were but he was there day one, has done art direction for all their records, and was one of three members (including Taylor and Root) to have songwriting credits for all the tracks on WANYK. He is at the very least a major player in the band

Clown does most of the multi-media work for the band. He's directed a bunch of their music videos and developed the cover art for some of the albums.

I also think he's a complete hack but those are his contributions at least.
