The more time passes, the less I care about the lack of Christian. The vocals are absolutely inoffensive based on what I'm hearing only here. And if there are Nilsson cleans on this album, it's gonna be even better

I love Christian as much as the next guy don't get me wrong, but Lars and Roberth have settled into their roles quite nicely in their last few outings and I've grown to enjoy them just as much. Christian probably isn't coming back any time soon, if at all, but he's certainly highly profilic, and there's always Solution .45 and Miseration (the latter of which did a pretty good album just last year).

I'd love a new The Few Against Many album, but even more than that a new Unmoored. S.45 is decent stuff too. But more than either of these, I want new Satariel. And what does this have to do with the topic? Turns out it was Satariel's singer who designed the Scar Symmetry logo

Per dropping another album flexing all over other guitarists in the genre, and I'm game.

I mean, it's been about 15 years, if anyone's still bummed out about Christian leaving then that's on themselves.

But yeah, a new Few Against Many or Unmoored album would be neat, especially Unmoored if they can somehow make something as amazing as Indefinite Soul-Extension.

Nilsson has a voice timbre closer to what Älvestam had, so him contributing vocally is also a big plus

Christian will never return to the band. I remember reading that he does not like to tour, and Scar Symmetry is a touring band. He also made comments about not being able to replicate a lot of the singing parts live due to all of the layered vocals on the albums, especially Holographic Universe. That's why they chose to go with two vocalists after he left. With that being said, I have fully embraced the new vocalists and I think they fit very well in the band, especially with Nilsson contributing vocals too. I am actually glad Christian left at this point because we now have Solution .45, Svavelvinter, and more albums by Miseration.

Holy crap this felt like it was going to go the way of The Winds of Winter. Didn't expect anything to ever happen here. Pretty excited to see them come back!
