Delain Members Depart 2021-02-19 by Rolling Girl | 7 Comments | Symphonic metal band Delain is now a one man band as all members have left founding keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. Westerholt confirmed the split on social media, issuing the following statement:
"For the last year or so, the collaboration within the band ceased to work as well as it once had. Some of us were no longer happy with the current roles in the band. We all tried very hard to find a solution for over a year, but sadly we were unable to find one"
Westerholt has also vowed to keep the band alive stating that the next album will be featuring "special guests" and "many familiar faces".

My guess is the entire rest of the band reform with a new keyboardist, and Delain becomes a parody of itself with constant member rotation and no real identity.
Of the 'big' symphonic metal bands, Delain was always the least remarkable anyway.
