welp, it's Epica

This is as stereotypical as a power ballad could get, but still better than the last single. Will never enjoy the idea of implementing a children's choir, but finally here's a decent music video.

Can't be compared to previous ballads. It's polished and all, but nothing more than that. Still, I support my opinion that they need to water their sound down a bit, and I'm glad they did.

I prefer a more grandiose Epica but this is good.,

They've been steadily enlarging their sound since The Divine Conspiracy, with each consecutive album feeling more and more grandiose than the on before. It's a nice change of pace, is all I'm saying. I don't think it's going to impress me, but I would definitely be even less motivated to listen to a new album that would wobble under its own weight.
