Honestly after Catharsis I'd really rather they burn all their merch and pretend they broke up after Bloodstone & Diamonds. That album was an adult temper tantrum in musical form

for me, this band has never really been that great. they were cringy even in the 90's on albums like Burning Red.

'Catharsis' is in the top 5 worst albums of the past decade, easily.

Yeah I mean Robb Flynn has been all over the map quality wise. Pretty good on burn my eyes and the blackening. Pretty good in his previous thrash life. 3 of the worst albums of all time with the burning red, supercharger, and catharsis. And a couple forgettable ones like whatever their second album was called or the couple of albums after the blackening. Their two biggest problems have been always chasing after trends and Robb having the emotional maturity of a small child

When the two most recent former members announced they were leaving, the band announced that they were doing a "farewell tour." Most people (rightfully) thought that the band meant they were breaking up, but they were just saying farewell to the two members who were leaving.

Well I also thought they broke up.. Vogg is an interesting and unexpected addition for sure.

Are any bands more erratic with quality of their material? Maybe they're due.
