This is pretty solid stuff, way better than the previous single
It's a Bad Religion song
And there's nothing wrong with that
I wish Rise Against did shit like this again. Just raw and honest. Not feeling whatever their whole act anymore. It's clear that they feel they're getting older and just tired of their sound. I'm glad that this has never happened with Bad Religion.
oh boy someone hasn't heard the bad era of bad religion
or the last bad religion single for that matter
Digging: La Dispute - Panorama
The fact that they released "back to the known" just one year after "into the unknown" is the best thing ever, I don't know what you guys are talking about.
I saw these guys a couple of months back in my home town (no band ever comes here!), they nailed it.
step in the right direction after the kids are alt right tho gotta say. hopefully the albums more of this
Oh goodie, more whining about trump...
Bad Religion sounding like Bad Religion
Oh shit a political band being political during one of the most divisive times in out country?!
NO. FUCKING. WAY.
@CugnoBrasso I doubt anyone was talking about "Into the Unknown". More about "The New America" or "No Substance"
Very interesting to hear these guys go in a more jazz hip hop direction
Good song, can't wait for that new album to drop
Digging: Asthma Castle - Mount Crushmore
bet it sounds like every other song they write..
In their case, it isn't a bad thing IMO.
Not really digging the mix on this. I like the song but the volume between the guitar and vocals is like waaaay off.
Bad Religion has sounded like Bad Religion for over 3 decades. I can pick out individual parts of this song and match them to other songs they've already done. The true magic of BR is that I love their sound, and have ever since I first heard "You" on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. I will pick this record up, I will probably love it, I'll give it a 4 or 4.5 even as its average hovers around 3.3, and I'll be excited that I finally get to hear my favorite band again (because I honestly thought 'True North' was it).
Also, while I refuse to give 'No Substance' any credit, 'The New America' is actually a little better than I remember it being.
Bad Religion is as repetitive as Breaking Benjamin, but a lot less catchy. Never understood why anyone likes these guys.
Great comparison dude.
So much better than the last single. Slaps.
They could've released this song at any time between 1990 and now and it wouldn't raise an eye. I mean, if it ain't broke, I guess. I still prefer NOFX as my go-to skate punk band who will never change a thing about their sound to save their lives.
My Sanity rules as well
