Nothing to 'Dance on the Blacktop'

2018-06-05 by g u t t e r b o y | 13 Comments
Philadelphia native shoegazers Nothing have announced the details to their third LP release, Dance On The Blacktop. This album welcomes their new bassist Aaron Heard, formerly of Jesus Piece.

In the provided link below, Nothing frontman Dominick Palermo tries to rid of his pessimistic view on life, in favor of looking at life as a "beautiful composed piece". And, in the way in which he speaks, it seems that same outlook will spill onto the subject matter and overall tone of the new album. The album is due out on 8/24 with digital, CD, LP, and deluxe 2xLP versions that you can pre-order through Relapse records. You can also watch their video for their new song "Zero Day" below.

Totally snagged that 2xLP, would’ve gotten the one that was limited to 100 as well if it weren’t already sold out

loved their last album the most out of what they've done, but this song didn't do a lot for me on the first few listens.

I still don't think anything is going to beat Guilty Of Everything, but oh well. I've enjoyed everything they've put out, so I'm pretty stoked for this album.

Ok band, kind of enjoyed "Tired of Tomorrow", but I can't really say I'm excited to hear more.
