Decent song, sounds like a step-up from Unsung Heroes so far. I do miss the folk in there though and the choirs were really unnecessary.
| |
song seems pretty good, dunno how it compares tho. haven't heard a huge amount of ensiferum
| |
Please don't suck.
EDIT: Those drums sound like ass but the song itself is p good.
| |
Great song, I like the use of choir and the gang vocals too, not folky enough though imo.
| |
Doesn't really sound that Ensiferum-y to me, but I hope it's good regardless. Especially since I want it to be better than Time II just to stick it in Jari's nose. Not like we're getting Time II this year but eh.
| |
I have a better feeling about this than the time they released In my Sword I Trust...
| |
sounded nothing like ensiferum, these guys don't have the soul they once did
| |
cppl band
| |
That snare sound makes me want to kill myself
| |
Sounds like something from Unsung Heroes...
lame
| |
i really miss the great lead riffs
| |
"i really miss the great lead riffs"
123 they haven't had any good riffs for years
| |
Can pretty much tell already from this track that the album is going to be played extremely straight.
| |
meh... too average for this band
| |
its nice
| |
from afar was their last album with really great riffs
| |
Needs more riffs/leads and better production imo
| |
So average..
| |
Noticed I'd never rated Iron on here so I listened to most of it last night after hearing that track and godam, this band used to rule so much.
| |
they did. they used to use so many fucking riffs it was mind boggling, and each and every one of them ruled. now we'd be lucky to get a few good riffs in an album. obviously this has a lot to do with jari leaving but still.
| |
I'm so glad they didn't let him produce their records or we'd only have gotten the s/t and Iron by now.
| |
Band needs to move out of the genre so we can at least say they were the best in that kind of music.
| |
I lost interest in the this band.. debut still kicks ass though
| |
debut is the finest of the finnish metal
| |
probably agree.. Moonsorrows classics up there too
| |
probably agree.. Moonsorrows classics up there too
| |
they are close
| |
That fucking hurt to listen to. What happened to these guys? What happened to the epic Viking riffage? Victory Songs is a fun listen!
| |
from afar is a fantastic album, in the minority that thinks it beats the s/t
after that they just lost it
| |
"from afar was their last album with really great riffs"
The title track is such a jam.
| |
both the heathen throne tracks were incredible
| |
is there riffs on afar cos all i hear is fuckin strings
| |
new track

More boring studio metal
| |
basically yeah
| |
Boring.
| |
where the fuck are the riffs
| |
Ok, that was depressing.
| |
The new song was alright, nothing special though
