My Damnation was this band's peak in every way, in my opinion. Pretty good concept themed lyrics and I was hoping that the instrumental death and black metal influences would transition them from a chug core band into perhaps a straight up death metal act. Oh well.

All the disappointed people...the fact that everyone expects big things from this band I guess is a good thing because they should be something more than a cookie cutter deathcore band. I think this song isn't much different, I mean there's a subtle difference in guitar work (and i little ambience towards the end) with Jason in my but I'm still pumped from the album to come out.

It's not even the fact that he's not soloing, I just wasn't expecting a 3 minute breakdown, although I should've been. & The only song I've heard off of Evolve is Don't Ask, Don't Tell and that song sucks. I used to dig these guys a couple of years ago around the self titled EP and Desolation of Eden but I grew tired of Deathcore pretty quickly. lol
