They lost their quirkiness and unexpectedness, which was the only good thing their sound had - heard the interview they also sound like a bunch of *****, one of the dudes said this album "will sound innovative even in 10 years", shut the front door.

Ya this sums it up very well, to be fair though it is just one song but still I don't see the album impressing much. Hopefully Im wrong Ive got a soft spot for these guys because Ive been following them since they were just a local band.

All of the Above was good but then they had to sign to Sumerian and put out that shitty full length. I was so disappointed.

Divided by was good. This is different, but still good. Definitely more accessible and has more dynamics. But slightly more generic in the way that it sounds like Stray from the path, Northlane and Sworn in all at the same time. Divided by was cool because there's no other band that has made a record like that.

there was at least variation in the vocals when nick was around. even with drew on the song the vocals sound pretty samey the entire time. and the fact that the instrumentation is less chaotic isn't helping either
