This is gonna get shit on here, (especially this song) but I like it and am eagerly anticipating the new record.

Happy to see/hear Chad back in FTFD.

Better than their last two albums. Getting rid of the clean vocals would be a good decision for this band.

This has got to be one of the most boring chugfest songs I've heard so far this year. Why is it so hard for bands to progress?

Heard worse. Generic as fuck but a step up from most of this type of thing being released lately if because it's not djenty and has some non-chug parts.

…it's mostly chugging/powerchords though. And why is nobody mentioning these god awful lyrics?

Yeah it definitely is, mostly. But I still feel it's got at least a SLIGHT edge versus most other
bands like this. Not like many other bands of this sort have less chugging. And I haven't bothered to
listen to the
lyrics. Probably for my own benefit.

Glad to hear the old vocalist is back but the music should go back to its roots as well

Backburner was enjoyable in a different sense than their previous material but whatever that other album was pretty much ruined their name entirely. This is hella boring but still a step up from the last one

It looks like the new cool thing on Rise is to have tattoos as album cover. Miss May I is doing it as well

it's a return to form... everything after changes was meh at best with album 3 & 4 being borderline unlistenable. tone deaf melodies are cringe worthy. I knew they'd come to their senses eventually.
