Vangelis reissues Blade Runner film score

Charismatic '70s prog rock/avant-garde icon Vangelis Papathanasiou is re-issuing a limited edition of his monumental Blade Runner film score in 180gr red vinyl from Audio Fidelity Records.

The track listing is as follows:

SIDE ONE:

1.Main Titles (3:42)
2.Blush Response (5:47)
3.Wait for Me (5:27)
4.Rachel's Song (4:46)
5.Love Theme (4:56)
6.One More Kiss, Dear (3:58)

SIDE TWO:

1.Blade Runner Blues (8:53)
2.Memories of Green (5:05)
3.Tales of the Future (4:46)
4.Damask Rose (2:32)
5.Blade Runner (End Titles) (4:40)
6.Tears in Rain (3:00)

In 1983, when Blade Runner was storming the theaters around the globe, the only way to listen to the film score was from unofficial bootlegs and some classic orchestra adaptations recorded from the New American Orchestra.

Eventually, the film score was officially released in 1994 along with previously unreleased material, whereas in 2007 a triple CD re-issue was launched, in view of the movie's 25th anniversary. The re-issue contained the authentic film score, some previously unreleased material and new compositions from Vangelis, inspired by the movie.

Was initially a disappointment at the box office though

This film had to grow on me but the soundtrack rules. Got it on my ipod I think
