Stamp on Lordi? no wai! 2006-06-27 by Prince of Darkness | 6 Comments | In a further stamp of approval for Finnish heavy-metal rockers LORDI, the Finnish postal services said Monday (June 26) the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest were to grace a new series of four stamps, according to MonstersAndCritics.com.
The stamps featuring Eurovision themes are to be on sale in May 2007 when Finland hosts the Eurovision Song Contest.
The band's frontman, Tomi Putaansuu, also known as Mr. Lordi, is to design one of the four stamps, Finland Post Group said.
