Jari hasn't been a part of Ensiferum for a while now. He was replaced with Petri Lindroos (ex Norther) in 2004 or 2005

Petri is a good replacement.

Ironic of him leaving Norther like that though.

Norther sucked anyways.

Borknagar, Ensiferum, and Insomnium in one month? Holy shit. I'm hoping they'll have another long track like "Victory Song" on this one. "The Longest Journey" sounds promising.

I honestly didn't listen to "Victory Songs" at all, but I LOVE old ensiferum.
So tell me, do they absolutely suck without him, or are there any redeeming qualities?

well Victory Songs bores me, but it isn't completely devoid of quality.

I'm sure this band will do alright... they just won't be as good.

band was good with Jari. They will most likely never surpass their albums with him, because even then they were only as good as power metal can be, and that's not very good at all.

TH? I can think of loads of PM bands that destroy these guys. Their s/t is boring and every song sounds the same
