Ending is orgasmic
| |
Wow, realeased on my birthday, sweet.
| |
the ending is fabulous you're right
| |
oooooo I like
| |
there old stuff was always pretty. MEH, got way more credit then it deserved. This album shows some promise. And am i the only one that feels like the middle of section of the song is something of the planetary duality.
| |
Their short song lengths and lack of any repeating sections irritate the piss out of me. Instead of writing a bunch of half-assed 2 minute long songs with no cohesion, how bout they come up with a few more riffs and give their songs a bit more substance? I like certain parts of this song, and the others, but overall I'm pessimistic of whether I'll like this or not
| |
Not really liking it that much. Lacks cohesion and very short. Might have to do with the ***** music quality they are uploading the songs in.
Exist is the only one I find fairly catchy.
| |
a7xeric your picture disturbs me
Yea I've been hearing that for a while now lol
I've just been too slack to find something to change it to, but I suppose I should get around to it
| |
So I heard they have Tosin Abasi as their touring guitarist...
| |
He's way too good for them
| |
Sections of the new songs are sick,
but as complete songs their not that great.
Pretty good though.
| |
album is out already for download
| |
Some of the guitar parts actually seem like something Tosin would enjoy playing a lot...I forget which, but one of the new songs have this really cool almost clean sounding part. It's an alright song...though is this the full track the way it fades out like that?
| |
It's like The Faceless except not nearly as good.
| |
It's like The Faceless except not nearly as good.
Exactly!
| |
Seeing as how The Faceless is below average as it is, this must be absolutely horrible.
| |
Fucking bow down!!!
| |
The album is actually pretty good guys.
| |
Yeah I listened to most of it and it blew me away
| |
This and the new JFAC really surprised me.
| |
Yeah, most definitely. Hopefully August Burns Red can continue this, and from what I've heard they most definitely will
| |
Agreed.
| |
I dig it.
| |
new august burns red is gonna be unbelievable, been listening to the samples, i am excited.
| |
I think just about everybody is excited for Constellations. Thirty and Seven is still my fav of the three I've heard.
| |
yeah same.
| |
Seeing as how The Faceless is below average as it is, this must be absolutely horrible.
i spit in your face.
| |
the album sounds more like a mixture of the faceless, the acacia strain and brokencyde :S
| |
It's alright.
| |
If anyone is overated its The Faceless, this band uses their keyboards more tasteful.
| |
New album owns face/
| |
yeah the new cd is pretty sweet
| |
This song rips the constant memorable tempo changes, guitarwork, and bass drum patterns really stand out. A Higher Place is gonna rape
| |
Haha the begining reminds me heavily of slipknot...good song
| |
The quality of the tracks on the myspace are horrible. I'm going to reserve judgment for when this thing leaks.
| |
It already did leak...hence all the comments saying how good the album is
| |
i tried downloading it and it failed.
| |
Well I know exactly where to get it...but I don't think we're allowing to post that stuff here
| |
you're allowed to talk about it but not post links to downloads.
| |
The album really does slay.
| |
Damn maybe I need to keep listening but I checked out the whole album and it's pretty lame I'd say. Their songwriting is absolutely fucked. Most songs are barely 2 minutes and there's no cohesion at all. I don't think a single verse from any of the songs repeats at any time which is a shame because a lot of songs have some really strong melodic segments that get no more than maybe 10 seconds of time to shine in the whole song. Meh maybe I'll just write a review for this thing instead after a couple more listens
| |
This thing is pretty good. if they just got rid of the ADD songwriting and repeated the amazing parts instead of playing them for like 10 seconds then this would be one of the best deathcore (or whatever they are) bands out right now.
| |
album isn't that great imo. if the songs were longer, and they repeated some sections that were good, it would be a good album. it's like they got lazy and half assed it.
| |
Far from half-assed. It's much more technical and focused than The New Reign. I was happy to see them branch out from Deathcore.
| |
i think repeating the amazing sections would make them less amazing. yeah thrl the somewhat random songwriting doesnt work sometimes, but other times i think it really works. i think the accountable is the best thing on it by far
| |
I like the new album. My only complaint is that it is ISN'T 20 minutes like The New Reign. If they would've kept the exact same album length, etc. with this quality of song writing, it would probably end up in the top 10 of 2009. However, they spread it out throughout 13 tracks. I normally listen to 2-7 and skip to 13. Ending track is the bomb.
| |
To anyone who has heard the actual CD, is it me or is their myspace music quality really bad?
| |
This album is so aggressive it hurts. Truthfully, it's a work of art. As a musician, I look at their song structure and their riffs and think, "Wow, these guys are trying something new". The song lengths and constant change in melody is reminiscent of old mathcore, and I love every bit of it.
| |
Is the drummer autistic? I keep hearing that but i don't know if i can believe it. His beats are pretty complex. No offence to autism sufferers of course.
| |
I have no idea whether he's autistic or not, but I do know that if it's a mild form then that definitely wouldn't impair his ability to create complex drum beats. In fact, it may even aid in it.
Anywho, the new album is totally awesome.
And the touring lead guitarist is freakin' unbelievable.
