Gwynbleidd Album Update 2009-01-07 by Tyler EMERITUS | 6 Comments | Progressive metal band Gwynbleidd have confirmed that their debut full-length (and follow up to 2006's Amaranthine EP) Nostalgia is not yet ready for release. Orginally slated for a late 2008 release, the album was subsequently pushed back to January 2009, though it is now thought to be set for a February release.
Currently in the final stages of mastering, Nostalgia will be released through newly formed label BlackCurrant Music. The band is expecting to release pre-order information in the coming weeks and fans in the Greater New York area should also keep their eyes peeled for a release party sometime in the near future.
The band has yet to confirm the direction of the album, as they've previously voiced their intentions to release albums focusing more extensively on both their folk and metal leanings.
