It wish i was hyped, but in all honesty, the only remaining member is only axl. i can't get hyped about a "guns n roses" album without Slash, Duff and Izzy. It just isn't guns, its an axl rose solo album

I think it's hilarious that they had to do an exclusive retail release in order to keep the record label from losing money over releasing the album.
There was a huge article about all of this like 2 months ago in guitar world.

To be honest, Axl's voice has really sucked in recent years. I'm not looking forward to this too much, but considering how much I liked the Use Your Illusion albums, I'll probably pick it up.
I really don't like the way Axl thinks that he's Guns N Roses on his own, either. I really wish he would just decide to shut up for once, he's really not doing himself any favours.

Do you mean live? If so his voice was always pretty hit or miss. I haven't heard any of the new stuff so I can't speak on that.
All I know is that Buckethead's version of nightrain makes slash look like he just picked up a guitar for the first time...well not really but Buckethead's is insane.

Yeah, not holding my breath. But if it does come out, I'll buy it, not for the music really, but mainly for being part of musical history. But in all odds, will it really come out on the 25th of Nov this year? It didnt when it was supposed to come out Oct 28th last year. Who knows. I will wait until Geffen confirms this one.

Yeah, I did mean live, though I guess it has always been hit and miss. However, I just can't see his voice being anything near what it was before (not that I particularly liked it very much, but it had a certain appeal) and I'm afraid that'll serious compromise this album. Yeah, I think this album may well sell loads of copies, but not necessarily because people are incredibly excited so much as waiting desperately to rip it apart. We'll see, I guess.
