The album is a bit hit or miss, like a BFMV album. Song rules, but there are better on the album. =)

That song was better than the last one that was posted, but Heafy's vocals still bother me. His screams seem way too forced.

their guitarist Corey does some screams as well. a lot of the really forced sounding screams i think are his. still, i dont care much for Matt's new vocal style. song was ok.

Well, I actually didn't like that one at all and thought the other one was better. That riff in the middle sounded too cliche. I still hate his vocals.

I can certainly see how they have matured as musicians but they really need to do something with the vocal department.

That was really good. I've never heard The Crusade and to tell you the truth I don't ever want to. I dont have a problem with the vocals either. They're actually pretty good.

Maiden riffage is all over this song, too.

Yea, the Maiden influences are great but it's actually blends into their style nicely in this song and isn't done in such a way where it's a stylistic influence and not so much a ripoff. I'm pleased with this song.

Heafy's voice sounds actually decent

that song was awful. Ascendancy was good. everything after sucks. i hate trivium so much now that i cant even listen to Ascendancy thanks for ruining metal guys!
