Having just completed work on their 2nd studio Album The Blizzards have just been announced for this years Oxegen Festival. This year the band will take to the main stage on the Sunday along with Rage against the machine,The Kaiser Chiefs,The Fratelli's & The Kooks-

Last years Oxegen performance was such a huge success, it led to the band winning the "best Irish live performance" at The Meteor Awards.

Their next single "Trust Me I'm a Doctor" will be released in the coming weeks with an early September release pencilled for the Album

A full national Tour will follow in Autumn
