Very cool looking, I may have to pick this up. I like this band even though I kind of don't want to.

They've gotten so much better live. They sounded almost this good at Warped 07 when I last saw them. Just about everything about this performance is amazing.

Edit: Spat you might want to add that they have a live version (audio) of In Regards To Myself streaming on their myspace. This Message Edited On 05.19.08

Amazing performances? Wow, what would you guys say if you ever saw a good band live. This band hasn't ever recovered from losing Dallas Taylor as their singer, they weren't great then and they are horrible now. Why listen to watered down Poison the Well/FATA/Zao/Alexisonfire rip offs when you can just listen to those bands who actually do this style of music well? Well kudos to their management for packaging their last album as a "new" cd/dvd.

Did you really just call underoath watered down From Autumn To Ashes rip offs or is there another band with the initials of FATA that I don't know about? LOL. They haven't recovered since losing Dallas? LOL x 2. Now they actually have a vocalist capable of doing more than three different kinds of screams. Neat!

The dude, Spencer i think his name is, is still taking vocal lessons on what their 6th album! That says it all. How about actually having talent before recording or touring? That'd be a novel idea. Dallas went and formed a better band by far, so go check out what underoath coulda been and head over to ferret records and get that Maylene and the Sons of Disaster record. Dallas said it perfectly "trying to be 'scene' or to sell records. I want every kid to know I am not going to change who I really am to sell records. I mean, I absolutely hate shoving things down people's throats, but hiding who you are is just as bad." Angle haircuts can only get you so far underoath.

Dallas completely owned his voice, that's why he was asked to leave.

He was a good performer, but only a few shows into a tour.

LOL

Spencer is exactly taking LESSONS, he just is actually practicing now. Look at Adam from TBS, yea not so great live now, but 10,000,000 times better then they used to be. It isn't a bad thing if a musician is trying to get better at something. Why is that wrong?

And when Dallas was in UO they were a complete different band.

Actually, 3rd....6th Total.

Anyway, i'm definitely buying this first day. Bought the 777 DVD and it was awesome, this should be too. This looks like it focuses more on the performance anyway, should be fun.

Hmm, did Michael Jordan ever stop practicing jump shots? I bet Tiger Woods still practices his short game. Well we all know that Shaq doesn't practice free throws enough and look at what happens. Why be satisfied? If your a professional whether it be music, sports, engineering, or even a pornstar wouldn't you use all of your resources to continually improve or would you just settle for "good enough."
How about actually having talent before recording or touring? That'd be a novel idea.
How about having talent AND practicing to continually improve. That's a novel idea!
Dallas went and formed a better band by far, so go check out what underoath coulda been and head over to ferret records and get that Maylene and the Sons of Disaster record.
Ferret is pretty cool but Maylene and their one dimensional southern rock don't do a whole lot for me honestly. I'm glad underoath is what they are today.
Dallas said it perfectly "trying to be 'scene' or to sell records. I want every kid to know I am not going to change who I really am to sell records. I mean, I absolutely hate shoving things down people's throats...
He absolutely hates shoving things down people's throats? Did he really say that?! My goodness 'Burden In Your Hands' lyrics come to mind as a contradiction.
Angle haircuts can only get you so far underoath.
Yup, like entering Billboard's Top 200 at #2, playing the mainstage at festivals and selling out headline club tours. They play post hardcore not pop punk. People don't buy their records for their haircuts; they buy them because they are loyal to a talented and continually progressing group of artists.

underoath is a metalcore band, regardless of the fact that they have one melodic death album and one really poppy album.
